Plain Janes, and the most spicy out there… let’s dip into what your heat level really says about you. This is personal.
Plain:
For those that decide to take time out of their day, take a leisurely venture out to a restaurant, dress up for the occasion, spend their hard earned money… and then spend it on a piece of ‘Plain’ chicken, look at yourself in the mirror. Come on. No judgement here, you just enjoy life on the softer side. That mash and broccoli you ordered with it (yeah, I see you), is a common classic next to that bone dry piece of chicken. You live for peace and that’s okay, just hurry back home from the meal quickly – Emmerdale is starting soon.
Lemon & Herb:
Okay so you wanted ‘Plain’, but couldn’t handle the embarrassment of the little white flag that announces your shame. You like a gentle taste, but you want to dip your toes into a sense of what flavour is. You also like life on the softer side, how is that excessive stack of books on your to-be-read coming along? You’re a relaxed person, and dependable to be around… because no one is as loyal to anything as you are to your ‘Lemon & Herb’.
M
edium:
You are the most popular spice, or most common… however you want to look at it. How are the Peri-Chips and garlic bread paired with it? Must be good, seeming as you have it every single time. I mean, come on, broccoli is right there on the menu. You are a solid type of person, you don’t take too many risks but also don’t take life on easy mode. You are cool.
Hot:
Did you buy the bottomless ice-cream afterwards? Yeah, I thought so. If you have your Nandos ‘Hot’, then you are doing it right. Flavour is yours. You like to push yourself, but still know your restraints… no bungee jumping this year?
Extra-Hot:
You show off. Did you come into the restaurant in a sequin tuxedo as well? We all know that ‘Extra-Hot’ is just ‘Hot’ but with a bit more sauce on top… it is no different. You like to be in the centre of attention, Leo star sign’s. The extroverted lifestyle embodies you, and you flaunt it.
New Spice:
You are either a terrifying person… taking such risks and leaps of faith with the new spices that come around, or you are curious. Either way, you are the coolest. You don’t stick to patterns, letting your food vary in taste. I hope you have recovered from the heartbreak of your favourite spice from 2017, never to be seen again.
